Community guidelines

Short, and we mean them. They exist so the forum stays useful and safe.

This forum is for adults

You must be 18 or over to hold an account or post. We do not create accounts for children, and we ask you not to post on a child's behalf as though you were them. This is deliberate: an open forum is not a safe place for children to talk to strangers, and we would rather be useful to parents than expose learners to that risk.

Anyone can read the forum. Only adults can post.

Protect other people's children, including your own

There is no private messaging on this forum, by design. If someone asks you to move a conversation about a child somewhere private, report it.

How moderation works

Posts from new members are checked before they appear, usually for the first couple of posts only. Every post has a report button. Moderators can remove a post, close a discussion, or suspend an account. We will not always explain a decision publicly, because doing so often makes things worse for the person involved.

If someone is at risk

This forum cannot help in an emergency and is not monitored around the clock. If a child is at immediate risk, contact the police or your local authority safeguarding team. If you are worried about a child, the NSPCC helpline is available to adults in the UK.

Complaints

Write to hello@wajd.co.uk. If you want a post about you removed, say which post and why.
